Planning & Marketing

We quickly collate and analyze consumer needs, and carry out operations by making proposals suited to those needs.

In order to respond to food preferences that are subject to quickly diversifying changes, our Sales Department and Marketing Department carry out planning and proposals to suit consumer needs, together with beneficial information provision and inspections for our customers. We cooperate with customers and suppliers in our marketing functions and promotion of merchandising, playing our role as a wholesale business by producing better goods and points of sale.
Going forward, we will always aim to create new value without being stuck to a conventional wholesale business style.

Initiatives

Customers and suppliers are connected by goods.

“Customer-first” is one of our corporate principles.
The “customer” is a client, and in order to connect customers and suppliers with goods, the main work of the Merchandising Department is to keep a master record and manage in both internal and external systems that merchandise purchase account establishment and product information together with manufacturers. We are also responsible for the important work of discovering new goods supported by customers. We carry out this work in cooperation with other posts, considering internal and external business optimization, managing and repairing developed sales support systems, and optimizing business and making continuous improvements.

Distribution

We aim to ensure efficient and optimum inventory control by means of centralized management.

We outsource nation-wide distribution center work, and the Logistics Department at our Head Office conducts centralized management focusing on the ordering of goods and inventory control. We link optimization and quick information by means of centralized management. The foundations for optimization of inventory control are the “Rich Order Support” ordering system and “Dolphins” combined management system. We aim to optimize inventory at all locations by making free use of these two systems.
We will continue to further evolve our distribution functions as we aim to be a company that customers need by means of inventory controls such as freshness management of valuable goods and stock out prevention, etc.

Low-Cost Operation

We construct low-cost management systems.

The Financial Affairs & Accounting Department oversees a wide range of accounting work, including settlement of accounts, preparation of financial statements, dealing with taxation business, and capital management tasks, etc. Furthermore, we aim to carry out systems automation so that reliable work can be conducted by a small number of people in order to implement low-cost operation, and we always promote rationalization and optimization.
We also strengthen checking functions for management of internal controls, provide accounting support for the activities of each department, support smooth business activities, and navigate towards a better direction while sensitively reacting to changes over time.

The greatest aim of the HR & General Affairs Department is to ensure that “people are assets”, together with the aim of producing an environment in which it is easy for employees to work by promoting work-style reforms and sensitively reacting to the environment surrounding the company. Unsung heroes are working to achieve this every day. A wide range of work is carried out, covering human resources, employment and calculation of salaries, in addition to promoting business optimization, document management, in-house facility management, establishment of compliance systems, in-house system application and maintenance, and in-house creation planning and management, etc. Since the scope of affairs is very broad, we ensure that quick and flexible support is accomplished.
